We are located in Churt, Surrey, Wishanger Wild School was founded in 2017.

 

I have worked with children for many years in a classroom environment, and I have always felt that there was more to offer children of all ages. ​

Along came my own children, and they have enjoyed being brought up in a natural environment over the past thirteen years.

​Like an acorn growing into an oak tree, it all began when the seed of an idea was sown.

Seeing how much they loved being in a natural woodland environment inspired me to qualify as a Level 3 Forest School Leader. I currently run a range of courses and workshops from Baby groups, toddler groups and sessions, for school aged children including Home Ed groups for younger and older ages. I also have great fun running a Forest School for a local Primary School and pre schools. In the last few years I have been running a few interesting and fun courses and workshops for adults from Christmas Wreaths to Fungi Foraging. We have hosted day retreats, forest bathing, pilates and dance.

Watching all the learners young and old develop in so many way inspires me everyday on my Forest School journey.

All our sessions are run by qualified Level 3 Forest School leaders and there is alway a First Aid trained person on site.
